Number plates

London, February 2003 – introduction of the congestion charge, an inner city toll. In Japan, it has been the custom for many years that only vehicles with even or odd number plates are allowed in the cities on particular days. All of this has gone to nurture another branch of “theft on vehicles”: thieves’ latest fad: number plates.

In collaboration with a number of vehicle manufacturers McGard has developed screw unions for protecting specifically number plates. Simple installation, high security – as usual we did not deviate from our ideals in product development in this respect either.
